J.M. Lawrence Fire Protection Ltd. ensures the continued protection of your business by conducting regular room Integrity Testing.
We provide the necessary Room Integrity Testing to the required NFPA 2001 (2015) ISO 14520 (2015) and the EN 15004 (2008)
We have extensive experience in testing all types of enclosures, from server rooms in offices to hospital care units.
All the relevant standards require that an enclosure Integrity Test is conducted on any gas suppression system installation and thereafter on an annual basis.
An Integrity Test is a requirement of the British Standard for Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems, ISO 14520 BS EN 15004,NFPA and BFPSA.
It is to determine how long the extinguishing agent will remain within an enclosure.
An Integrity Test should be carried out on all new installations and any alterations to existing enclosures protected with a fire suppression system.
All enclosures protected with a fire suppression system require an annual Integrity Test.
An Integrity Test can usually be arranged within a few days, and takes between 1-2 hours to conduct.
Air conditioning may continue to run during the Integrity Test if high bias pressures are not recorded by the Integrity Test engineer.
Where air supply/extract systems are in place all dampers will need to be closed for the duration of the Integrity Test either manually or temporarily sealed off.
A pass certificate will be issued to validate the result and satisfy insurance purposes.
A summary certificate will be issued on the day of test with a full report and pass certificate to follow.
An inspection will be carried out and all leakage areas noted. Recommendations will be put in place and documented for future remedial works to the enclosure.
We will give you a full report of all leakage areas and recommendations. These works can be done by ourselves if requested.
